unscientific research.

3/19, 2/11, 1/9, 2/14, 1/5, 2/15. 1/21, 0/19

can you guess?

Female representation in various anthologies, is my guess.

Or possibly even non-white-male participation. Pathetic, isn't it.

I'm happy that Thoughtcrime Experiments was 4/9 female authors & 2/5 female artists. 2/9 PoC, less good and I'd work to up that in future anthologies.

I'm so glad you liked it! Did you post a review? I have been meaning to post a collection of links to reviews.

Where did you find the TOC? I looked last night and could only dig up one or two.

Women or minorities vs number of white males in SF anthologies?

Poking around on amazon for the recent ones that included toc or authors list, whichb was like 1/4, tops. Had to dig into the reviews for some. A couple were pulled from my shelves to check, too.

That would be my guess too.

Just women, in what random sample of recent anthologies i could find lists of authors. couldn't do race, because i only had the names to go on, and it's possible that my numbers could be thrown if there are more women authors writing under male names than i recognized.
