glee

I thinkthis is my only glee post, but I could be wrong. I ave watched like 2 ep, one at someone elses house who loves it, once on my computer, and whatever. The premise made me think DEGRASSI WITH MUSICAL NUMBERS. but no.

but i found out today, that even given that there are occasionally deaf characters, they run it without captioning. attantion wise,I have a really hard time without captioning, and I am just fucking outraged that a 'disability inclusive' show doesn't fucking caption.

I've seen exactly one and a half episodes of Glee: "Wheels," which I barely made it through (disability-stereotypical is more like it, rather than disability inclusive), and some other one that I turned off because I was both bored and pissed off.

It could be an interesting show if it wasn't so premised on making "liberal" folks feel good about themselves while also reinforcing various stereotypes about its "diverse" cast. Diversity means nothing if you're just reinforcing the same ol' shit.
