and yeah, some will say it's because it's Texas, but this is happening everywhere. no public school is completely free of political agendas.

My only real hope here is that the amount of attention this has received might FINALLY spur other states and school boards to action, thereby forcing the textbook manufacturers to stop kow-towing to a bunch of backward dipshits from Texas.

It's not a big hope, mind you, but I don't think most people understood how curriculum was influenced until recently.

Also, this raises the changes that I might need to homeschool The Cheat after a couple grades. =/
