I guess since this is the first unlocked post, i should include some background. My husband's temper finally went critical and physical and he's out of the house. he says he'll keep paying rent but he also is using that as an excuse for why he should stay here and can't get his own place, and I can't be dependent on him or I might take him back just because not having rent money might be scarier than he is. So I'm asking for donations, even from strangers on the internet, because I would rather be dependent on strangers than him right now. Feel free to link or whatever. Anything will help keep him out of my house. Thank you ETA Thank all of you so so much. I think he's realized this is his shit and not mine enough that I'm not in physical danger from him at this point. Most of his abuse was verbal and emotional, not physical, and now most of it has turned inward. Also, I've already spoken to my landlord about subletting if it comes down to needing to move out of here. I have a lot of backup right in my neighborhood if shit ever got really ugly, because it's the kind o neighborhood where people are in people's business and I know all of my neighbors. Some of them a little too well, and they're all keeping an eye out.
