welfare? I was under the impression she was on food stamps (which cap out at a relatively low amount no matter how many kids you have -- a cap she assuredly had already hit) and SSI disability, because she incurred an injury while working in a state hospital. oh, and student aid.

last night on the O'Reilly factor, Ann Coulter was calling down all the liberals and pro-choicers who objected to the so called "octomom" (as in "Look out, it's octomom! come to destroy your bootstraps and undermine you family values!) and her choices and I was absolutely horrified that, for once, she pretty much had it right, as far as what the left thinks. sadly, she missed the part where "liberals" are no more exempt from classist, judgmental, shitty fuckwittery than conservatives.
it may also interest you to know that programs like foodstamps and financial aid for students create an aconomic return that is greater than 1:1 for the gov't.
