So my landlord and some guys are fixing my deck. Normally having a landlord in such close proximity for several hours would have me well into panic mode. as is, I'm a little nervous because there's a big power tool noise startling me from time to time, but otherwise I am smooth. It is amazing what a difference it makes renting from someone I kinda know.

I live right below my landlord. I used to think this would drive me crazy (although there used to be a second tenanted unit between us, which helped). By now, not so much. Also I must stop disparaging old hippies, considering.
