thinking out loud

given how many second wave feminists were pretty damn racist and transphobic, even some of the feminist sff foremothers, we've guest of honored bigots at wiscon before, I'd imagine. I don't think it is relevant to whether Moon is disinvited, etc, but I think it might be good to think about how much how much bigotry we've, as feminists, been honoring all along.

Trufax, considering the history and issues around feminism as a movement, most particularly in the US. Taking a brief onceover at a list, I've had issues with things several of the people on there have said--GRRM, ffs.

Though it's been less of an explicit situation like this is.

This has also occurred to me.

Yes. But I'd extend that, they still *are* racist and transphobic (and much more) and it isn't only second wave feminists.
