I think he's realized this is his shit and not mine enough that I'm not in physical danger from him at this point. Most of his abuse was verbal and emotional, not physical, and now most of it has turned inward. Also, I've already spoken to my landlord about subletting if it comes down to needing to move out of here. I have a lot of backup right in my neighborhood if shit ever got really ugly, because it's the kind o neighborhood where people are in people's business and I know all of my neighbors. Some of them a little too well, and they're all keeping an eye out.
