I 'm a Mayflower descendant. Who fucking knew. Also, apparently I could play Tonto,too, because I am indeed exacly as Native as Johnny Depp. I finally have names to go with some more of my ancestors. this is interesting.

Well, you start by asking your repulican lesbian second cousin who keeps this information,

So you're a touch over an 1/8th Native American? Because Johnny says he has a Native American great-grand on the maternal side and an undefined more distant quantity on his father's side.

Apparently, according to my family historians, I'm something like a 16th Kiowa and could qualify for the DAR, if I ever wanted to join a bunch of racist social climbers.

Far cooler, imo, is the tidbit I learned about a great-aunt of mine--she traveled with the circus in the 20s and 30s and jumped horses off of platforms into pools of water.

Yeah, I have confirmation on the great grandma, and there is still some undefined amount on my dad's side.

As far as which nation, your guess is as good as mine. I've finally got names, dates, and a great aunt who confirms the great grandma was full blooded, but that' all I can find.
