I used to do this thing when I misplaced stuff.

I'd be like "Where is the last place I would possibly look?" and I'd look there as soon as I decided on it...and whatever I was looking for would be right there!

I was able to use that trick to find my roommate's keys once, too.

I can resemble that. And I don't even watch the TV. I just get fed up watching/listening to other people complain how they can't find it.
