When were you happiest?
on the road, summers of 94-95, with the hippies, and the hitchiking, and the mountains. summer of 94 more than 95, for sure, even though I wasn't traveling alone in 95, the dramas were less fun ones.

What is your greatest fear?

my kids being hurt

What is your earliest memory?

I remember the house we apparently lived in when I was two. I even drew the floorplan of it, and it was as my mother remembered it. I specifically remember sleeping at that house and some friend of my mother telling me I could see the tv better if I rolled over and went to sleep?

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

laziness

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

disrespect of children


What is your most treasured possession?

I don't have much for sentimental possessions. The letters my dad wrote home from viet nam, I guess.



What would your super power be?

is sleeping a superpower? I'd probably want the power to make people explode.

What makes you unhappy?

Brain Chemistry, friends who let me down.

I suck at guilt. I am ashamed of very little I do. Rent Slash, i guess

HAH. jack and shit? Um, gratitude because she did the "best she could" considering, I guess.


What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?

i dunno, costuming is weird for me now.


What is the worst thing anyone's said to you?

I've had some harsh shit said to me. I don't want to go through it all to find the worst. Maybe the part my ex stepdad said about my mom having her family and him having his, so I didn't need to come over anymore


To whom would you most like to say sorry and why?

The friends i and Z stayed with in boulder, where we showed up for a shirt visit and stayed for a month and were nasty houseguests from hell. One of Z's exes, too, i think.

What or who is the love of your life?

Z. apparently

What was the best kiss of your life?

There have been so many.



Have you ever said "I love you" and not meant it?

only if they said it first, and only til I figured out I didn't have to say it back.


Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?

maynard, tori, spider robinson, ani, half a dozen wiscon folk.


What is the worst job you've done?

Worst like cried the most, or worst like got sworn at the most? Waitressing at denny's made me cry. Calling and doing fundraising for naral got me sworn at a lot, but answering phones at Gumby's may have been the altogether worst. I'd still get sworn at, by drunk guys, condescended to by college kids, and I worked with the roommate i fought with all the time, one of the other people who did my job honest to god spent a half a shift huddled under her desk one night.

What has been your biggest disappointment?

not using my gint intellect to be a huge success.


If you could go back in time, where would you go?

i like now. Maybe 1967-68 to catch some shows.

When did you last cry, and why?

anxiety got the best of me last week, I teared up a bit


What single thing would improve the quality of your life?

being independantly wealthy or getting my teeth fixed

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

The people my kids are becoming.

What song would you like played at your funeral?

I used to, as a teenager, have a whole playlist for that shit. Now, since I try not to think about dying, I don't know. I don't particularly want a funeral, so.

How would you like to be remembered?

I don't care how, I just want to be remembered.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

Just because life fucks up whatever plans you make, doesn't mean you should stop making plans.
