the fucking apartment that was my one chance at unfucking myself here is gone, and there is not shit else I could afford in even sort of functional neighborhoods. Not to mention, I am still something like 2300 off from being able to pay off march and get a place by april. I AM FUCKED FUCKED FUCKED FUCKED. Best case, I wind up in crushing debt to my landlord and can get a room at the co-op with the kids. FUCKED.

I'm looking into housing co-ops hard now. We'd have to downsize all our shit, and probably be all three in one room for a while, but I think it could be an awesome huge lifestyle change. I can't bring myself to move back to the neighborhood I grew up in, but it, and the other neighborhoods just like it, are the only full on apartments I could get. I think I'd rather be crowded into one room with two kids in an intentional community in a neighborhood I love than have a roomy 2 bedroom apartment where there is nothing good to walk to and a lot of crime and cop activity. I do't mind the crime as much as the cops, tbh, and the cops in the co-op neighborhood are too busy with drunk college kids to mace teenagers.
