people who met the friend I brought to wiscon? Should he come back next year, or have I totally ruined my own reputation by bringing that asshole to the con?


I'm too exhausted to actually post about the con yet, and I have to do all the work I blew off now.

I didn't see much of him and he didn't say anything out of line to me. But he did keep me from seeing more of you, so.

There is that. Next year he will know people and be more comfortable, so I won't have to babysit him. I think we both kept each other from socializing as much as we wanted to in order to not make the other feel ditched. OTOH, once I got one of the kids back, he helped with her so I got to keep being social.

We shoulda hung out more anyway.

I didn't have any bad interactions with him. I admit to being nosy/curious about who he was, especially if he was someone you've talked about with code names here or not. [You do not have to answer me, I am only admitting my nosiness. Because I am nosy.]

Geez, it's made huge changes in communication and getting it. He's gotten a bunch of insight from the con, and it has made our intense conversations even more hardcore. I may make a major post just about that.
