Okay, Celebrating Irish ancestors and their culture? YAY! Celebrating eliminating Pagan beliefs from Ireland? BOO! So I'm like, Do we celebrate this or not? Aaaah, We celebrate by being Irish and Bitter! It still involves Guinness and/or Bushmill's! And maybe some Irish punk rock.

but it's still pretty much a party in honor of christianizing Ireland. I have a very loose holiday policy, because I'll celebrate just about anything, but mostly I only do Christian or Saint holidays if they were covers for pagan ones, because it feels hypocritical for me otherwise, but I've casually secularly done st pat's on and off regardless.
