moral dilemma, we'll call it
Sep. 27th, 2009 06:54 pmis it in any way productive to call someone out for something they did almost 20 years ag that they probably never registered as a big deal, but wound up being a complete huge betrayal that fucked up how you interacted with everyone ever since, and ruined your expectations of friendship? if, say, you've just sorta gotten back in touch with them on a social networking site? because I think it might be good for me, just to say, 'hey, this fucked me up, and I can't keep pretending it didn't?' otoh, I'm not in one on one conversation with this person, and I don't want to initiate 1 on 1, so my urge is just to post about it on the social networking thing I am on with them, and if they want to step up and talk about it, it's on them.
eta, i did it.
