watching fuse last night

I noticed and noted in the one hour I left it on, they played gaga, kesha, k perry, some guy, enrique, avril. that's a lot of women in one hour of music tv. Not that it was a lot of music I was into, but I'm really used to the mainstream radio/mtv pattern, where two songs by chicks in the same half an hour was a big aberration. Has it changed that much since I stopped paying attention?
