still pregnant

well, this is delightful. I have been having mostly non painful contractions for a full 10 days now, but as of friday, they were not making anything happen. nothing. occasionally a few of them get painful, but it passes. I have tried spicy food, greasy food, long walks, warm baths, sex, cleaning my house, more spicy food, more sex, and still, nothing.

On a more positive note, i got a haircut today. my first professional haircut in almost 20 years, since the accidental mullet when i was 13.

no, smartass. this time it's not a mullet. the last time i paid for a haircut, 19 years ago, i got a mullet because i couldn't describe mall hair. not that mall hair would have been better, in retrospect.

Today, i got a pretty normal looking short as hell cut. well, i wanted it shorter, but this is pretty short. although girly.

I got so desperate when I was pregnant with Molly, I offered her a pony if she'd come out. She was ten days overdue when she finally put in an appearance.
