are a bad influence on me. While Moji napped, I picked up the notebook and resurrected Maud, the time anomaly story that I fizzled to death almost as soon as it started, and pounded almost 1400 words out in what time the monkeys allowed. And now I can't think of anything else, and the STORY is actually DEVELOPING instead of wandering in a tiny tiny circle as it did for 2 years now. And these characters in my head won't leave me be.

And I blame you writers, with your word counts, and the reminding me it's possible to write a whole book one word at a time.
