MCR IS TONIGHT. I AM DYIIIIING.
I am praying that the kids go to sleep early for Z so he can go to bed and not wait up for me, because I don't want to hurry or stress out after the show, but fuckit. I got them up early, that's all I can do towards getting them to bed. I called Z to see how his day was, and he sounded pissy, but said nothing was wrong, so I'm not going to be concerned about whether he has some sort of grump up his ass or didn't get enough sleep or whatever. I GET TO GO SEE MY CHEM. WITH FANGIRLS. IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC AND SHINY. Still don't exactly know what I'm wearing. I drew killjoy shit on a shirt, but it's subtle and doesn't breathe great, so I'm tempted to go back to just a tshirt to keep from dying of sweat.
I'm also praying that whoever is working the board for mcr knows what's up with the rave/ballroom, because every band I have seen there sounded like mud. The place was designed for acoustic shows, so it is super hard to do amplified rock shows that don't sound like ass to most of the house. Ani difranco sounded all fuzzy and dense there. I mean, I'm not totally concerned about the sound quality if I'm just there to rock out, but I'd like to be able to make out the details.
