shit. got home from rocking potluck at
ansai's house, (on the way home from which I discovered that on the new meds, 2/3 of a beer makes me drunkly,) to find hat this flood has invaded our basement. yeah, our nice dry basement full of drums, guitars, recording gear, Z's computer, a ton of clothes, etc etc, has a nice big swamp, basically. Carpet is ruined. Most of our clothes are ruined. Z is buying a shopvac that we can't exactly afford right now in hopes of removing the water before anything else is destroyed.
fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.
I don't want to think about how much money has been ruined if the drums are fucked. We can't replace them, that's for sure, so the kids will be drumless.
It took years to accumulate all that gear at our budget. fuckity
