now 40% less bitter
Sep. 7th, 2008 06:27 pmso I'm going to suck it up and go to this year's Pagan Pride Day. My issues are mine, and don't reflect on the people running PPD now, nor do I even know who runs the show now.
It'll still be weird, because to me MadPPD is totally my baby, and all the ways it has grown and changed since I stopped being involved, and all the ways they're doing/have done things waaaaay different than I would, make it feel like not only is it not mine any more, but as though it never was, or as though I was doing it WRONG all that time, otherwise why change it's focus from public activism to a festival setting? Not that doing it their way is wrong, either.
see, it's all just weird.
if anyone else is going, can we go together, so I'll have a posse for moral support?
