apparently while I've been busy, there's been shitstorms. what a surprise. But what did com as a surprise to me was this term "cisphobia" wtfuckingfuck? It is not "cisphobia" if a trans* person is uncomfortable, mistrusting, or full on angry with cisfolks. just isn't.


also, being oppressed as a woman is not the same as being oppressed for being a transwoman.

also also, not being "femmey" doesn't mean you don't have cis privilege. I also don't do makeup, heels, fancy hair, and this does not mean that I am oppressed for sepping out of the gender binary.
NOt being a girlygirl is not the same as not being cisfemale.
also, also also, just STFU.

So being slightly out of the loopy on trans issues since I hardly ever hang out with my trans friends anymore what is the definition of cis/cisphobia. I sort of get the context, but clarification would be nice. Mostly just curious so I can get a better idea of where you are coming from.

There will always be a level of discomfort when you live with an identity out of the "norm". Those who walk in the light of privilage do not get to play the "poor me" card in my opinion nor do the get a cookie when they toss out tiny crumbs of tolerence. Not sure what shitstorn I've thankfully missed (been in the middle of enough of them lately), but sometimes I wish more people would TRY to listen to others expeiences rather then just instantly discounting them. (sigh)
