welfare? I was under the impression she was on food stamps (which cap out at a relatively low amount no matter how many kids you have -- a cap she assuredly had already hit) and SSI disability, because she incurred an injury while working in a state hospital. oh, and student aid.

this shit is tired and was pretty much shown for the specious classism it was about 25 years ago. must we belabor it under the guise of differing opinions?
