So Im hearing shtrly deliberately keeps his on paper income low so as not to pay taxes, but then gets assistance from the state, and took help from the uninsured writers fund? Can anyone verify? This whole thing gets more and more fucked up, and I'm wondering more and more wtf is up with him.

Fear not, I've just been mainlining Adams since I was ten or so...and that's the first thing that comes to mind whenever I hear someone did anything 'for tax reasons'.

I just find it amazing that people make some kind of nebulous 'stand' that's all symbolic and shit, but end up hurting the average person long before it does any harm to the establishment. I got over that at about age 20.
