Seriously. I like the status-update feature on Facebook, but I feel no desire to make those little snippets widely public or to browse the little snippets of random people.
I don't mind twitter in general, but trying to keep updated on something going on when there are 20000 posts just name dropping the event without new information, surrounding the like, 15 tweets with information is hard.
I love twitter as a social networking device cum self promotion vehicle. It's definitely not where I'd go for an actual good discussion of any actual issue.
