Seriously. I like the status-update feature on Facebook, but I feel no desire to make those little snippets widely public or to browse the little snippets of random people.

What brought this on? I use multiple channels for tracking conversations, LJ, DW, Blogs, syndication feeds, and Twitter are all part of a tool kit.

Im just not finding twitter to be the useful tool for this job, although its where most of the action is taking place.

I'll be the outlier on this one. I like Twitter. It keeps me endlessly amused at people's random thought processes.

I have a Facebook but I currently have mad hate for the interface. At least I have TwitterFox tied into my browser and it's pretty unobtrusive.

I don't mind twitter in general, but trying to keep updated on something going on when there are 20000 posts just name dropping the event without new information, surrounding the like, 15 tweets with information is hard.

it's the whole signal to noise ratio thing.
