lso, apparently rent fandom has no standard of warnings. because all i got warned for was hot sex, and out of four stories i got eating disorders, self harm, attempted suicide, and some assault. i just wanted some smut.

I've come across this problem with fanfic in general, but especially fandoms based on character-driven drama, like Rent.

You know what they say, if you want something done right, you gotta write that angst-free smut yourself.

it's cool, i'm not particularly triggered myself, certainly not enough to write my own smut (yet). I was just left kinda shook up by the surprise self harm, which probably won't be a regular feature. i hope.
