poor scheduling fail

okay, so because of not looking at the calendar before talking book group into reading my favorite book that i will not miss the discussion of, I'm going to be abandoning my family for several hours to drive back into town and go to the group while we are on our little 4 day vacation next week. which sticks the husband with both kids at the dells with no car while I go to the bar and talk book.

in other news, have now done too mch shopping for the babay's birthday.

Tonight I went to Half-Price Books and bought four more Suzette Haden Elgin books.
