Yeah, went to McD's today to get a couple of happymeals (cheap small lunches perfect for a picnic!) and they asked the old "boy's or girl's?"
I go "What's the toys of the week?"
"Um...boy's is...a helicopter, I dunno what the girl's is..."
Damn, but that was an annoying gender-binary stereotypical moment. Naturally, we got two boy's meals - Lego Batman ftw - but I really wish there was some way to get past that binary gender reinforcement crap.
Next time we want a cheap picnic lunch, I'm thinkin' Arby's. ><#
