I'm on a panel along with a guest of honor, and one of the two linguists I fan hardest, on a panel about language and fail. Like, if this was my other most fanflailed linguist, the panel would probably be in the context of her novels, which I can talk about backwards for days, but this is the more academic oriented one, and I have no common ground with her. aaaargh.


fuck me running. I am now scared to see what other big name intellectual rockstars I am panelling with.
