I think you should e-mail programming and say that while you're not asking to be placed on it, you are asking that they make sure they included someone who is trans or can speak strongly and knowledgeably about Daly's transphobia. Programming assignments are still at least somewhat flexible at this point.
Maybe people didn't realize that was an option, as it had not been in the past. In the past a vote meant "I want to be on this" and you could not just indicate interest. You had to be willing to serve on the panel. I know my brain did not register that setting until my second pass through.
Maybe something in the copy next year could specifically promote that if you do not indicate interest in attending, the panel might not happen.
