online manners

So, the last place besides lj that I posted at much, taking things out of locked or private coms was "leaking" and was seen as shitty behavior akin to breaking f-lock, and this was a really snarky anything goes kind of board. But it seems that on lj it's common and not a huge breach to post caps of stuff from private groups to public comms, and it's hard for me to adjust to not thinking of that as shitty behavior.

And I don't want to go through the caps that got posted to check, but I had posted some kinda heavy shit in said locked comm, and I assume since the person who leaked is a friend of mine they didn't cap my part of the discussion, but it's still weird.

lesson learned

Private comms are not private. If I want to vent semi-privately to a larger group than my flist, I need a sock.

looks like I am missing bookgroup again. My friend K is doing tgiving tonight, so I'm going there. I would honestly rather be surrounded by fangirls right now,but feh.

Was feeling asstastic

so I decided my choices were wallow or dance. Turned on Planetary(go!) and rocked the fuck out. It maybe the perfect dancing song, being a balanced blend of the music I loved at clubs, and the angry metal edge I need.
