the first part of this questin is phrased so wrong that it hurts my brain. are moods controlled by brain chemistry, or does brain chemistry determine mood? THATS THE SAME DAMN THING ASSHOLES.

besides the whole fallacious nature/nurture dichotomy that makes the whole question, even as intended (vs as stated), wrong wrong wrong.

think neuroplasticity, kids. it's turtles all the way down.

eta: or an amplifying feedback loop that resembles turtles with wings on methamphetamine flying around in frenzied circles without knowing why or where to. that is the state of psychiatric knowledge at this point in history.
