okay, with losing a bunch of my main deck and using the back up deck that I have ISSUEs with, I find I need to shop for a new deck for the first time in, uh, 10 years? Not that I am buying one right away, and, uh, there are a few more decks out there these days, and there were a lot when I was doing this before. And there has been another big surge in creative and/or dark interpretations of the cards in the last ten years, it seems.
I may just get a new copy of my old farber/zerner deck. I need something where the symbolism is still pretty close to the RW, in theme and major elements, but not necessarily completely traditional in style. If anyone has recommendations, that'd be cool. I'm just glad I don't need to buy one RIGHT EFFING NOW, because this shit is gonna take some time. I can stick with the awkward backup deck til I find the right one.

Date: 2010-09-24 11:09 pm (UTC)There are tons of decks out there now. Tons. I remember when about the only two decks you could find readily were the RW, the Aquarian deck, and, if you had an occult store you could get to, the Thoth deck. Kids these days, you don't know how good you have it!
