okay, offbrand mp3 player, but whatever! we started the kthnxmas shopping today, and our local big lots is going under. And they had 1 gig mp3 players or 30 bucks BEFORE the percent off, so I got my xmas present for like half what it would have been at a real store. Now I can have my music wherever. woot! I've loaded it halfway already, full of brighteyes, dresden dolls, tori and all my crap, and some pogues and flogging molly for the moji. Now the Heathen and the husband both want one.

Did buy stuff for the kids too, of course. Probably only need to do one more trip before the holiday, since we're buying most of the rest online. Got the Heathen the robot thing from my mom, so she doesn't have to go out.
Also went ahead and bought the new Rayman game for the wii as our selling the caddy present. Actually, dh bought it, I offered him sexual favors to do so. So, I has video game!
Made it out to lunch at the place with good Pakoda, but not as good as the place downtown. blah.

Seriously, don't go buy them all. I'm sending Z back tomorrow to buy more. They had a bunch of half gig ones, too, but the full gig ones only work out to like 4 bucks more.

We went to Big Lots yesterday all unknowing about the closing/madness. We walked about for while determined that there was nothing we wanted so badly as to face the mob and went to Target. Congrats on the MP3 player.
