Also attn everyone else who is interested in the swap, or a tumblr meetup.
I only have email addresses for two of you. and I feel bad but have no idea who #4 is. So hey, if y'all can hit me up at my usual username at gmail, I'll have everyone in one place. I can't specifically remember who said they wanted to help run it and who just wanted to help staff it. IIRC, Jinian is co-coordinating Shana_etel is helping at the event, and Jhameia is somewhere in between. The mystery fourth person, IDEK. Also, I have gotten over not really wanting to coordinate this shit, and am now looking forward to it, considering making signs, organizing the clothes better, fancying it up, and scrounging for more mirrors. I realized that whether I planned on it or not, I have sorta been running the swap since it joined the gathering and became a thing, so I've grown attached to it.
Wiscon folk on tumblr started talking about meeting up, and Jhameia and me were like Hey! Meetup at the swap! we'll both be there! So the swap will also function as a tumblr hub. This will either fuck up traffic at the swap, or get us more minions. We have plenty of coordinators, not enough minions. I will just give people clothes to fold if they're chatting in the traffic pattern, instant minions.
Someone needs to write up a blurb about the swap to distribute precon, even if it's just a note on the comms and list to remind people to bring their awesome stuff to the swap.
