Seriously, when you freak the fuck out at my house, and take any fucking criticism as us saying we don't want you here, don't like you, and I'm taking my son's side against you when you're acting like a petulant teenager, and I say that you should consider mental help, don't freak out all insulted that I'm saying you're unstable. I'm not insulting you. I don't consider being mentally ill to be an insult, and personally it hurt my mentally ill feelings for you to take it that way.
But you do need help. Stable adults don't throw "take my ball and go home" fits in front of their grandkids, over something the grandkid himself did.
The whole thing started because she hugged him too rough and shook him. He asked her not to, and was annoyed, she got all "Okay, I'll Never hug you again" and oddly enough, I thought that was a fucked up thing to say to a kid, no matter what the context. Apparently she thought he was annoyed about the hugging in general, not how she hugged him. Whatever, but she's not crazy.
