 my hair will not be awesome for wiscon.  i tried some nifty shit and didn't pull it off,  fried the parts I was bleaching, can't really bleach out the rest without frying that too and losing a couple inches.   So my hair will not be interesting colors by the con, and I have damaged it enough that stylewise I won't be able to do much.   Might fuck with it anyway, but at this point I may just aim for "not incredibly fucked up" rather than "awesome"

I think I cut mine too soon before the con; I think it will be a little short compared to how I ideally want it. BOOOO.

I might still come up with something. and it's not like my current hair is normal or anything, just not as exciting as it could be.

It's not as bad as all that really, i'm just not going to have a bunch of bright color like I had hoped.

Have you ever gone for a shaved head? It's exhilarating, and very cool, and (sadly) quite itchy for a week or so when it's growing out. The plus side is everyone will want to pet you like a kitten.

Yeah, I've done all the way shaved once or twice, but I'm liking the partially shaved thing now.
