MY LIFE

 HQ's birthday party starts in less than 2 hours.  Z is bedridden with a puking migraine. The main entertainment was supposed to be squirt guns in the back yard, but the weather is gray and cold.   I do not have a backup inside activity for the, um, 6- 10 kids on their way to my house.  Need to wrap presents and deco the house.  Have no adult to keep hq out of the way so I can wrap presents. am, essentially FUCKED.

It wound up semi awesome. mostly it was just the one family with a bunch of kids, so it was enough people to feel like a party without it being a bunch of kids who didn't know each other well. And there were cupcakes.
