so, because I somehow volunteered to mod a comm that is about privilege issues, it made me go into the usenet archives for when i went crazy and started posting about privilege in a.m.t., and found the thread where I posted and defended the "invisible knapsack" list, and I was TOTALLY RIGHT about which ones of my friends had been in total denial about systemic racism to the point where I had to take a break. (waves at one of them) and goddamn, I used to have a lot of time to argue on the internet, and sounded like I really knew my shit, compared to my add/scattershot posting style these days.

then I just kept reading various old feminism/race/privilege arguments of AAAARGH from the a.m.t., and I really miss arguing with that particular group of stubborn buttmonkeys.
