i want something cheap and small, but not totally crappy. I can't decide between USB powered or AC, but i know i need powered speakers and am sick of batteries.

I'm on an eee 900, if that affects what kind of gear i can use.

suggestions?

The choice of "cheap, good, or small" usually results in a pick-two scenario.

What's your budget?

i'm willing to sacrifice small, and i'd like to keep it under 30, 20 would be better.

I have no idea what the Eee 900 sounds like on its own, but I don't know that I've ever heard a pair of $20 speakers that were worth anything.

Do you want something to listen to at a desk while you're working? Something you can set on the kitchen table and listen to while you're cooking grub for the kids?
