If it's a case of who would kill who, it would depend on the setting really. If zombies can be put down with a head shot and vampires can be killed by having their heads cut off, with the traditional weapons (swords for pirates, guns for cowboys) it's going to be a case of who-sees-who first.

Though of course in either case, the zombies have the advantage of the vampires not being able to feed on them. That takes away one of the vamps' greatest weapons. Plus, I'll bet zombies aren't susceptible to the famously hypnotic vampire gaze.
And I think the average vamp, at least in popular culture, would be pretty disgusted by a zombie, which could lead to carelessness in battle.
However, if the question is, "who would you rather watch a movie about", I've gotta go with cowboy vampires, even though I don't love vampires and I do love zombies. It just seems that there would be more swash to buckle with vampires than zombies.
