showtime has a redo of shameless? with Will Macy as Frank? That from the ad looks like a straight up remake plotwise of the first season? Except now the littlest kid is mixed, and therefore not franks? I think they are fucking up one of my most favorite shows. Why the fuck would they remake it? THIS DOES NOT HAPPY ME. I'm pretty pissed off about this shit.


In other news, I have finally accepted I will never have enough time to Seriously Write The Novels, so I have to learn to work with not enough time. I get two minutes, I write a line or two. I get more, I write more. I can't wait for uninterrupted time. As such, I made some actual progress on my fairy story thing, and as I get to know them, my lead swears an awful lot and my second keeps turning into Bullied in High School Gerard Way. I have read too many fanfics lately, I guess, but it kinda works for the character. The other story, sweet jesus, why am I writing a time travel complications story without working out the time travel details. wtf am i doing? I'm just gonna keep working on the fairy thing, which may be complicated, and political but at least there is no goddamn science, and the characters are shaping up nicely.

I am having a hard time writing this shit chronologically. I think I'm just going to write a zillion scenes and then shuffle them til the story comes out. That's a valid writing technique, innit? Because the "what happens next to move the plot" is where I got stuckeded.
