(no subject)

Went dancing hard. Had an awesome time, got compliments on my dancing? and a super cute 23 yr old girl bought me a drink and told me I was gorgeous? Yeah. it was a good night, I full on danced til they shut the place down. I found a sequined glove on the ground on my way to the car. I think it's official though, that if I am gonna dance that hard, I better be ready to hurt afterward.


Then I get home, and there is a notice from my bank that my paycheck fucking bounced, so now I am fucking overdrawn because my landlord finally cashed the rent. my paycheck. bounced. wtf is that? So now I gotta move what I have for next month's rent into the bank account from the paypal to try to avoid the fucking fees. FUCK.

rubber paychecks

my boss, and her boss, both are very confused by my paycheck bouncing. Their bank says it went though, there was plenty of money to cover it. AARGH. But, my boss's boss went to his local branch of my bank and deposited the amount of my check plus the overdraft fee I got hit with in cash, so I am no longer in the red. If the check winds up clearing so they paid me twice, they're just going to keep the difference out of my next check.

Also, the big boss says my direct boss tells him all the time what a great job I am doing, and they've picked up new accounts so if I can find the time, I can pick up more assignments.

I'm just so relieved this shit worked out, because even beyond the "oh fuck, i need that money so I'm not overdrawn" my main reaction was "oh fuck, what does this say about the stability of my job?" but apparently my job is very stable, and this is some bank error shit.


I don't have the car tonight, but I am considering taking the bus downtown and doing some karaoke. I should be responsible, stay home, write articles and clean my house. Don't wanna. Smartest plan would be to clean and write this afternoon, see what I get done, and then go out if my body stops hurting from the dancing.
