Was it that thread about how trans people have to disclose their trans history to potential partners, ALWAYS, or else they're lying liars who also rape? That one made me want to hurl. Ugh. And it's not so much the OP -- I applaud her for bringing this up -- but the comments section and how the bigoted, privileged, hurtful comments got so many "I liked this" clicks. :( I stopped reading Feministing ages ago due to their racism, and this pretty much told me that it's still not a safe space.

Which is to say, I think you rock for speaking up over there. And, well... there is no "polite" way of telling people that their bigotry and/or transphobia is showing, so. I think your reasoning is sound. Who knows, perhaps they'll let it stand.
