so people keep posting just little things about their plans at wiscon and I am getting more and more excited about this years con. Especially since we're going nuts and hotelling up friday through monday, so i won't miss so much stuff, and will have so much more time to do fun shit if I don't have to drive in and out of downtown all the damn time, so I can hang out more! and act social! and I am much less crazy this year, so social will be easier maybe, and I can lie down if anything goes odd. And since we're hotel guests, z and the kids can go chill in the pool, game room, w/e while I do con stuff if they get bored in the consuite or stuff. AND WE PROBABLY HAVE A ROOM ON SIX, right in the middle of all the shindiggery so I'm just like AAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIEEEE! And I've gotten further into fandom proper this year, so in so many ways my brain just keeps screaming BEST WISCON EVER, OMG.


Anyhow, anyone who doesn't usually come gonna make it this year? anyone not making it besides those who already mentioned?

I will be there! Though I want to work on my film there and ask people shit on camera but I need to ask the concomm first and haven't gotten to that yet.

Yeah, I'd anticipated that, between that and the delightful study incident last year with fandom. (That said, it's my MA dissertation instead of a public release, and due to UK law about use of copyrighted material, it's going absolutely nowhere but the marking committee.)

It's still sort of up in the air if I'm going or not, but it IS looking a lot more hopeful because Monday I'm starting a new job and I SHOULD be able to save enough to go.
