maevele | pranked my mother, but good

So, my mother and I prank each other some years, but not always. I used to call her and claim to be in jail, or pregnant, or such. A couple of years ago, she got me good, by claiming she was getting back together with my stepdad, who had joined a cultlike church that year. (since then his godly ass disowned me.)

Anyhow, I had to get her this year.

So she came over today, and I was in a big argument with a good friend about how he needs to respect my decisions, and packing up books. And i wind down the argument, and tell her I need to talk to her, and maybe she should sit down. And I gave her a good work up about how I wanted her support, and it was a hard decision, and she's looking all nervous and ready to cry. So I tell her I've been wrong all these years, and the family is converting to christianity, and I want her to come with to church on easter, and we're baptizing the monkeys. So she's all relieved that my news is mild, and she's kinda happy I'm a christian, so then I tell her we're joining her ex's church, with the speaking in toungues, and the give us your money, and the cutting off of unsupportive family.
And I tell her that it's her ex who converted me, and she freaks the fuck out. apeshit. ready to storm out. I tell her I'm not sure what church we're going to join, but she's just pissed! especially that I'm talking to my stepdad again after he disowned me.

So, we let her believe it for about half an hour, complete with how Z gets no say in how I raise these kids since he never stopped me from raising them as heathens, and my friend arguing with me, and finally I ask her what the date is. And when I say "april fool" she starts throwing everything in arms reach at me, as I roll around on the floor, literally.

Yay.

My mil is next.

edit :well, now dh got me. He was driving a friend home, and called and told me he had been pulled over, and they searched the car and found something the previous owner had left in the trunk, but wouldn't tell him what, but he was in the cop car.
