Comment on this post. I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along, if you like.
[livejournal.com profile] kittikattie picked these 7 of mine, so here goes.
dexter! Hi there, Michael C Hall being awkward and killing people. yes please.

non traditional parenting, See, I can't say I do attachment parenting, although I have elements of it. I keep studying "parenting methods" to find one that seems like what I do, and I find support for my methods, but only a tiny bit here and there, so I keep studying. Basically, I'm raising the monkeys as though they were almost equals, while teaching them along pretty radical lines.
pants with bunnies a very good friend gave me bunny pj pants while I was insanely pregnant, and I love them. The bunniees are pink. I am the opposite of the type of person who would love bunny pants, but I do and have no shame
sybermoms the net's snarkiest parenting board. also the most judgemental, foul mouthed, gangbangy, and fun.

left wing nonsense When I manage to actually find an opinion in the media that is far left enough that even I think it's far left nonsense, it fills me with glee. Most of what I agree with gets pegged as far left nonsense, so it pleases me greatly to find things further left than I am.
much other music, joan armatrading, damien rice, dar williams, frank zappa, joan baez, nine inch nails, fall out boy. I could go on and on, but do we have all day?

certain comic books I can't just say "comics" because then people think I like all of it. All I really groove on are Strangers, Transmet, Johnny the Homicidal maniac, and my all time fav, Hothead Paisan.

I am commenting, because I don't like comment-less blogs, but don't feel beholden to commenting on my interests; as I am not certain I even filled that part out.

I think a mishmosh of parenting is what everyone does. It's all trial and error, and even 2 kids from the same family aren't necessarily parented in the same way. One of my daughters would be devastated to lose, say, TV for a week--the other one wouldn't care at all.

Hothead rocks! Reading her first thing in the morning can be an awesome way to start the day.

Generally I like nonsense, but when it's pervasive in real-life politics it's just depressing. There sure is a lot of nonsense out there, though, ready to amuse us!

I am commenting here because I just read a post you made in the Madison community. I was wondering if you are the same Maevele I used to know in Madison? The one I knew founded the Pagan Pride event here, and visited the Tea & Talk. Is this you?

Linda! Hey yeah, it's me. I moved and had more progeny, and pretty much dropped of the face of madison's pagan earth, if you know what I'm saying.

How've you been?

Things are good with me. My journal is fairly open, recently I have been making more friends locked posts, but I am going to "friend" you after I write this. I also don't have much to do with the local Pagans anymore. I still am connected with my old CAW friends, tho. Now we are working with Sweetwood Temenos, because CAW as it was is no longer in existence.

I am hanging out with some lefties in Madison. I worked the Midwest Marijuana Harvest Festival, and single-handedly ran the bucket drive for that. I had a lot of fun that weekend. I come to Madison about two or three times a month now. Gas is too expensive to come more often as all I have is a big pick-up truck; my son totaled my car last February. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt.

I would love to visit with you when I am in town. One of my young friends you might know (Ben's daughter ... I recall once you said your parents had known Ben so I wonder if you know her) She has a one year old child, and knows a bunch of other young moms. How many babies do you have, and how old are they?

Can I get your real email address so that I can write to you off of lj? Mine is linda@oakfire.com

Would love to visit with you and have some fun!
