Apparently, it involves anon hate memes in Asian boyband fandom. There was a girl who claimed to be the girlfriend of one of the pop stars (I think). sleuths_r_us was formed to "discover the truth" of this. I vaguely remember when that hit fandom wank (maybe unfunnybusiness?). At the time, I think most people concluded it was some bizarre grudgewank.

This, however? Goes well beyond that original incident.
