I've known for a long time that I wanted at least one more tattoo to go with my flower and axe, and it was going to be some sort of mother symbol, but I have never quite worked out what the symbol is, and I may be interpreting my own accidental symbolism theme from the wrong perspective.
Anyway, point is, lately when I want a new tattoo, it seems more vital that it be music related, in that the others symbolize my relationship with visual arts and literature in a small way. I'm down to be a total cliche and get a line of lyrics on me, but I can't narrow down what one line it would be. There are hundreds of lines that hit me so deep the should be written on me. Or i could be the other cliche, and get a musical staff with the notation for, frex, Hallelujah on it. Of course, there is still no tattoo in the budget anytime soon, but I'm thinking on it.

help me think. talk about shitty lyric tattoos you've seen, awesome ideas, anything.

The obvious solution to the problem of having to pick one line is to get multiple lyric tattoos! Then you only have to decide which one you'll get first, & which ones further on down the line!

Sorry, I'm no help! I agonize over what tats to get too, though. I have two words of Diane Duane on my shoulder & have been meaning to get a Diana Wynne Jones quote (for years, not just b/c she passed away recently). If I let myself I'm sure I could come up w/zillions of other quotes, waaaah. Not enough money skin!
