are there other grownups who watch degrassi? or am i a damn freak for loving this show? should I be more embarrassed by it than I am? Is Z right for laughing?
Okay, first of all, Degrassi is awesome. I think I nearly cried when I first heard that theme song that goes, "If I hold out, I know I can make it through." Because that was the most optimistic opinion I was ever able to hold about high school! It doesn't dress it up as the greatest time of your life or something. And second, is there ANY OTHER SHOW on TV where a character had an abortion and it was treated so neutrally and not made into a huge huge deal? Especially a young teen. Right?
